The North Face Prolix Delta Jacket - Men's - 2007

The North Face Men's Prolix Delta is a super-thin active wear Jacket made with DWR-treated four-way stretch woven fabric. The Prolix Delta has reflective detailing on the back for added safety when you're road running or cycling in the evenings. Under-arm mesh insets help keep you cool after you've worked up a sweat. The Prolix Delta's chest pocket gives you a place to stash your keys when you head out the door. The North Face added thumb holes to the Prolix Delta to help insulate the pulse points and makes holding on to the steering wheel on chilly mornings a little more comfortable.

Bottom Line: The North Face Men's Prolix Delta Jacket is great for active sports or just rambling around town.

Nice

Stylish, well constructed, breathable. Doesn't block wind well, otherwise a great shirt/jacket.

Great for Running or Chillin'

By:
August 10, 2007

I live in Colorado and I am a serious runner and athlete and I absolutely love this jacket. I'll run with only the Prolix Delta and a long sleeve shirt in winter. Breathes very well and is suprisingly warm. All around it a great thin, active wear jacket.

Better than I thought it would be!

By:

I have worn the jacket on a trail run, which required a lot of running in rainy weather through thick underbrush, thorns, etc. This jacket came out unscratched, not bad for very thin yet very, very durable material. Most of my runs have been done in very windy and moderately cold weather and this jacket kept me warm and broke the wind! I am so impressed w/this jacket, I just purchased a 2nd one (just in case they are discontinued). And once again, how may excellent running tops are out their for larger runners/athletes?

Salomon Shoe review

Great jacket, have run 2 morning runs in the 30 degree range & windy, and this soft shell rocks! Wish I had stumbled onto it sooner! Fantastic wicking & breathability, yet windproof at same time! If you don't have one, get one!!

Fantastic Jacket for Larger Athletes

By:
December 19, 2006

Just received this jacket, and I very impressed w/quality, style and sizing for us larger athletes! Just returned Cloudveil Cache Creek due to size being too small and over all design of jacket. But, this jacket so far rocks. Can't wait to run in it tomorrow morning! Will follow up on how jacket performs!

Good design, more a wind shirt than jacket

By:

This is a well-made, breathable and water-repellent jacket, but has no real thermal lining. It is very light for packing and easy care. It's something you could wear over a t-shirt for several days of travel, or for running on an above-freezing day. My soft glasses case just fits in the chest pocket.

Incredible bargain. Could not be anymore perfect for these Santa Fe summer nights if it wanted to be. Absolutely comfortable and breathable, I am completely impressed with this jacket. Exceptionally well designed and manufactured, I would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone.

Can't Go Wrong with the North Face

By:

I use this jacket for chilly runs as well as road cycling (40 - 50 degree days and nights). The "gloved" sleeve comes in handy when you need to keep your hands out of the elements when you begin your activity (note that fingers are still exposed). This jacket is built to last (like all TNF products).

I am 5’ 9” and use a 70cm axe it works great...the best part is the new handle...it is great to hang on to. They really thought of the little things to make this axe better.

Great Jacket

By:
January 31, 2007

North Face has made an excellent jacket. Very easy to move. Very light weight. Many jackets these days have a pocket every seam. This jacket has one well placed pocket on the left front breast. very easily accessible and easy to move the zipper. Drawbacks: A little thinner than it looked or was described on website. Could use a small snap if you didn't want the full sleeve to cover your hand.
