The North Face Plan B Triclimate 3-in-1 Jacket - Men's - 2008

Your plan B tends to be of the “Ahhh … uuummm ... let's see …” variety. No worries—The North Face Men's 3-in-1 Plan B Triclimate Jacket has you covered during weather changes on the slopes. This three-in-one jacket has waterproof breathable HyVent fabric and fully taped seams for the wettest winter storms, plus synthetic insulation in the zip-out liner for cold chairlift rides. Holy mother of cow, the Colorado weather changed from snowing to sunny in five minutes (yup, just like they always say it does). Zip out the insulated jacket liner and just wear the shell with the powder skirt and adjustable hood. When you're done for the day, wear the cozy liner jacket around town.

Bottom Line: You now have a plan B.

You cannot, Backcountry doesn't ship The North Face products outside of the U.S.. If you have a liaison in the U.S., send it to them then have them send it to you.

Remember PLAN B is not a PLAN A... Not great for Cold Weather (15F and lower)

I got this jacket recently. I have several other Columbia and Northface jacket. This Jacket looks deceptive in the photo. Dont get me wrong the jacket looks cool but it is not a good winter jacket if that is what you want.

The inner is way to thin, it is a joke to call it a inner. My cheap fleece from oldnavy is so much better insulated that it.

So all in all this is a good cool looking jacket for occasional wearing. I say occasional wearing since this is white and light blue, I will need lot more regular washing/dry cleaning.

Hope this helps...

Great Jacket

By:
March 5, 2009

Got this jacket a couple of weeks ago. I went skiing last weekend in NY and the jacket really performed great. The weather was cold (about 20 F), windy, and blowing snow. I had on North Face snow pants on too, and was not cold at all. I liked the zip-in liner versus the snap-in type of jackets I was comparing the Plan B with. Also - there are zip core vents in the arm pits, contrary to the written specs. You won't be disapponted with this jacket.

All jackets are sold as-is, meaning we do not sell individual components. I dug around, and found two zip-in compatible The North Face shell jackets. The shells will zip together with any zip-compatible The North Face fleece/insulator. I suggest the Varius Guide jacket because it's totally waterproof/breathable, has a removable hood and looks nearly identical to the Plan B. Fantastic jacket

By:

My son LOVES this jacket. It has so many zip-in/zip-out features. He has worn it every day since Christmas because it adjusts so nicely to whatever the weather conditions are. The only change he would make is to have the elastic snow stop be removable.
