The North Face Pamir WindStopper Glove - Women's

Pull on The North Face Women's Pamir WindStopper Gloves for an early-spring snowshoeing adventure or a walk around town. These low-bulk, lightweight gloves keep your hands warm on windy days. Gore WindStopper, sandwiched between two layers of soft and cozy fleece, provides protection from bitter winds, so you can wear the Pamir Gloves from ski towns in the Rockies to the bitter Northeast. Silicone-treated palms give you a secure grip on steering wheels and trekking poles.

Bottom Line: The North Face Pamir WindStopper Gloves give you low-bulk, wind-resistant protection on spring skiing and snowshoeing adventures.

Durable, Dexterous & Light Glove

The Pamir is a great spring glove, as well as good casual wear glove. It offers quite a bit of performance with the external grip enhancements on the thumb, forefinger and index finger. This added tred allows for good grasping instead of the smooth material the whole way round. I have the white, but they do get dirtier- but you can also find them faster amongst the black gloves that many tend to have. These are really comfortable gloves, and easy to maneuver with- you don't have to take them off to zip up, handle keys, or deal with precision tasks. The fleece lining is really soft, and gloves have proved to be durable. The windstopper also blocks really well against the elements. For the climbers out there, I have a #1+ camelot size hand, and ordered a small, which fits perfectly.

I need a pair of gloves that will provide me with ultimate warmth.

I need a pair of gloves that will provide me with ultimate warmth. I am a soccer mom year round, so I need warmth in the bitter cold of winter and spring. Will these gloves provide me with this? Thank you.

You want "ultimate warmth" and you're looking at $50 fleece liners? You need to step your game up. Ultimate warmth is going to be something like the Black Diamond Guide, but realistically you probably want something in between. Keep shopping.

Great gloves!

I bought these gloves last year and they were perfect all winter. I used them for heading to the mountain, leaving the mountain, casual wear, driving my car, you name it. I bought the size based on the sizing chart. I bought a Lg and recieved the gloves and they were about a size too big. So, I recommend going smaller on the size.

Not good enough. It's windproof, but not thick enough for temps like that.

Good Top Layer

These are definitely wind proof, and I loved the dexterity offered by the grip tips on the thumbs and the fore and middle fingers and palms. Plan on buying a thin liner glove, though, because in cold weather there isn't a lot of insulation for warmth.
