The North Face Opus Fleece Jacket - Men's - 2008

The North Face used Polartec Thermal Pro fleece with a corduroy knit to add a little sophistication to the Men's Opus Fleece Jacket. The street-ready Opus Fleece Jacket … hm … makes us think … does anybody out there remember the comic strip Bloom County? Well, it was about this naïve penguin with a herring addiction: Opus. Now, we're pretty sure The North Face Opus Fleece has nothing to do with that comic. We're just saying that when you zip up the Opus Fleece and head into town on a cool autumn day, you should pick up a Bloom County book from the bookstore. Hilarity ensues.

Bottom Line: Won't make you look like a penguin.

Is this fleece weight similar to 200 gram, i.e., comparable to Northface Denali? Or, is closer to 100 gram?

The Denali is actually a 300 weight fleece, but this is lighter than that. It'll be closer to the Khumbu Jacket by North Face.
