The North Face Off Limits Triclimate Jacket - Girls' - 2008

No territory is off limits in The North Face Girls' Off Limits Triclimate Jacket. This three-in-one snow jacket combines to keep your girl warm on the slopes. The HyVent seam-sealed waterproof shell brushes off snow and moisture like crumbs off a table, and wearing the fleece-filled silky liner feels like being tucked in after a long day. After an active day, she can zip out the high-loft silken interior liner and hang out in the lodge in casual style. Locking draw cords and adjustable cuffs help seal out the elements and customize The North Face Triclimate's fit.

Bottom Line: Three-in-one gear by The North Face.

Do any of your North Face jackets for kids have the zip in liner?

Do any of your North Face jackets for kids have the zip in liner? I bought one a couple of years ago for my son that has one and it is awesome, but I have not been able to find another one like it. Please let me know. Thank you.

nice jacket

Very nice jacket (like any North Face product), exactly as described. Sizing was accurate, too. Not too bulky with the liner in, and it's very easy to put in or take out (even for my 7yr old daughter).

Had a small mfr. defect, though - the snaps on the hood wouldn't stay closed on one side. They looked fine, though... I don't know what was wrong. Regardless, Backcountry customer support was amazing. We asked to exchange it for the Kira instead, which was no problem. They sent a replacement that day, paid for expedited shipping and sent a prepaid UPS label for the return.

This coat is very waterproof and will keep the wearer warm. I do not know if you are talking about a Utah winter with lots of sun, or a northeast winter with bone-chilling cold and wind. You need to be more specific.

Great jacket!

Between the wind resistant waterproof outer jacket and the fleece liner, the jacket couldn't be more perfect. Girl size 14 perfectly fits very petite 20-year-old.

You should be good down to the low 20's at least, if not into the teens. There are enough layers in this and the shell material is good enough that with those bitter winds you'll be just fine.Hope that helps.

in this jacket, if you had a north face fleece, could you take out the fleece that comes with the jacket and put an actual fleece jacket inside the coat? Some coats will allow you to put a fleece inside the coat as a lining but for more warmth. I was just curious is this was the same.

don't know?If you're looking to be able to zip your fleece into this jacket, no it's not possible. But you can fit another fleece inside of this one as an extra layer.Hope that helps.
