The North Face Octagon Down Jacket - Boys'

Many down ski jackets get wet when a winter storm rolls in. The North Face Boys’ Octagon Down Jacket, however, uses waterproof HyVent 2L fabric and fully taped seams to fight the flakes.

Is this a good coat for a Chicago Winter season

Hi Sandra- This would be a really nice winter jacket for cold temps. It is 550 fill down insulated, and waterproof. It also has ski/snowboard features- I'm not sure if this is important to you, but it would make a very warm jacket that will keep him dry as well.
