Are these boots waterproof?

Hi Melissa- These boots are not waterproof, but they do have a DWR treatment on the fabric that keep them very water-resistant. I have the men's version, and wear them around the snow all of them time and have never had a problem with and any water getting though.

Write your question here..Northface.com sells these boots up to a girls size 7 for 50.00. I'm confused as to why backcountry has the size 7 under women's for 84.95??

Hi - Youth and adult size 7 are different sizes (the youth 7 being much smaller that the adult 7). Also, the materials and construction of the boots and materials are also different.
