The North Face Mountain Biker Lumbar - 375cu in

With a name like Mountain Biker Lumbar, it's pretty obvious who this waist pack was designed for. It works great also for hiking, road biking, and pretty much any activity for which a lumbar pack would come in handy (think your next vacation to Florida). The Mountain Biker Lumbar has a breathable foam backpanel to minimize the dreaded wet spot, a zippered front pocket in addition to the main compartment, and water bottle pockets on either side with elastic retainer loops. Compression straps abound to keep everything nice ‘n' taut. Little goodies like a key clip and daisy chain sure come in handy.

Bottom Line: Biker, hiker, walker – the Mountain Biker Lumbar holds your necessities, including water.

great for hikes

By:

Had this pack for almost 3 years now. Never used it mtn biking - strictly hiking. Great for long day hikes. Plenty of capacity, very durable, and secures weight very well so that the pack and its contents don't shuffle around on you even on very strenuous hikes/scrambling.

Just go to a running, biking, or triathlon store and buy some standard water bottles. If those don't fit, try a nalgene. By the way, what picture?

Pretty nice stuff

By:

Rode 1000 miles off road, and couldn't even tell I had it on. Was very versatile and plenty of storage space. Water bottle holders hold the bottles in place in the roughest terrain. I now use it for everything- hiking, road biking, mtn biking... Extremely happy.
