The North Face Mossbud 1/4 Zip Fleece Top - Long-Sleeve - Women's
Layer The North Face Women's Mossbud ¼ Zip Fleece under a winter jacket on cold-weather hikes, and wear this pullover on its own on chilly fall nights. The soft fleece fabric keeps you warm, and the zip front lets you dump heat quickly before you start to sweat. A soft mesh liner on the Mossbud Zip Fleece's neck, cuffs, and hem prevents chaffing.
Bottom Line: If you're looking for a super-soft fleece shirt, grab The North Face Mossbud ¼ Zip Fleece.
Great fleece. I forgot my ski jacket once last winter, and ended up wearing this instead... and I was actually warm enough! It's really soft, fuzzy, and people may even want to pet you. I found that it runs true to size. I got my normal size, and it fits perfectly...
this is a wonderful winter layer. So cuddly and extremely warm. If you are a hot natured person, this is not a "sweatshirt" type fleece you would want to wear around the house. It is WARM. As someone who is constantly freezing, I LOVE IT.
This fleece runs rather small. I am 5 feet 5 inches tall and weigh110 pounds. I ordered a large b/c I like a roomy fit. Had I ordered an XS it would have been very fitted. A large is a nice length and size and gives me room to breathe!
Be forewarned, everyone will want to give you a hug when you are wearing this fleece. It's so cuddly and fuzzy. It's fabulous! I ordered the Brown color with the pink lining on the collar. It looks great.
I ordered a medium thinking this would be a little big - I usually wear a small in a top - it is super tight and I will probably have to return/exchange it.
This is an extremely warm pullover! It tends to run a bit small but once you get the right size you will love the softness and plush! Great for spring and fall days!
My 13 year old daughter loves this super soft, furry pullover. It was a different alternative to the regular North Face fleeces and she can wear the black one with her school uniform. The extra-small fits her perfectly, however she is young and thin. We are very happy so far.
I just bought this top and it's perfect for crispy fall/spring mornings. Super-soft and cuddly. It does run small though- I'm usually an x-small, but I bought a small and it's perfect (just a smidgen long in the sleeves). Very lovable top.

I was the recipient of this great gift from TToister. I love it. I tend to always be cold, and it is incredibly warm and cozy. I am a size small (5'5", 108 lbs.) and the size small fits me perfectly -- I would not want it any larger. Plenty of room for a layer underneath. Also, it is very cute (I got it in green)-- I have gotten compliments from the first time I wore it.
I bought the Mossbud Fleece Top for my daughter for Christmas and she absolutely loves it due to the softness and the warmth. Her regular North Face size is a small but I bought a medium after reading the other reviews. It fits her perfectly.
This could be one of the softest (and most huggable) products you own. But it is also very warm (by itself, or layered). As others have said, it does tend to run small.
This is the warmest fleece I own. It is great on winter hikes. It is super comfortable and so soft. I loved it so much I even bought the pants that match. It does run a little small. I am always a medium in North Face products but I needed a large. The medium was too form fitting and too short.
Perhaps this should go without saying but definitely follow the care instructions and do not dry it! I LOVE this fleece. It is very warm and comfortable and snuggly. However after just a few (maybe 3 or 4) washings, it has definitely lost its luster - the super soft "furry" look to it. I did not wash it on delicate as recommended and I did dry it (which the tag says you can do but suggests line drying for best results). I would be even more devastated if I had paid full price! I am normally between a S and XS. I have the XS and like the fit although I don't layer much or at all underneath.
Bought one for myself in November and fell in love with it. Its sooo soft that people will want to "pet you". Its also very warm, probably the warmest shirt I own. My boyfriend bought me another one in a different color for Christmas and I ended up buying one for my mom for her birthday. I usually wear a medium or large because I like a little room and I ended up going with a large in this. My mom is usually a medium and also preferred the large.
I bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter. She has several pieces of North Face clothing but this is now her favorite. She loves it. It will be a nice piece going to and from college classes in the winter.
I purchased this for my wife for Christmas in red and she loves it. I cannot explain how soft it is to the touch and the quality is great. She absolutely loves it and wants another one in a different color.
I bought this for my sister in-law for Christmas and she loved it. She said it felt like wearing a stuffed animal. She usually wears a S or M, and by looking at other reviews I decided on getting the large since everyone seemed to say it fit really small. Unfortunately, it was a tad too big. So we're exchanging it for the medium. I think the lesson there is go up a 1/2 size, not a full size.
