I was looking for gloves a couple years ago when a buddy of mine said look at North Face gloves. I have used sooo many different kind of gloves in my day, but nothing compares to these. I have not bought a heat pack in years and have road in all types of cold conditions since I have bought these gloves. These gloves are the perfect gloves, not to bulky, they are one of the few gloves that still offer the wrist straps. I dont know if any of you have ever lost a glove before, but trust me, you want these wrist straps!! North Face gloves are by far the best. I doubt I will ever wear any other pair of gloves.

Ok. So some of these reviews are all over the board. I don't know what the fuss is all about. Maybe some of them have weird hand sizes? I don't know. So here I go .... I was looking for a nice pair of winter gloves that would be stylish, durable and I could wear out for a snow fight, maybe some xc skiing, and then look classy walking to campus or walking down to the bars with friends. Having yet to be let down by The North Face, these were my first choice. I was not let down in any way. The gloves were shipped fast, looked exactly as their picture, and fit great. I'm happy its summer now, but come winter I know that these gloves are going to look sick with any jacket. Style, Class, Warm. Not another target glove or grandfatherly leather driving glove.

I've used them snowmobiling in Northen Wisconsin and just got back from four days of skiing in Winter Park, CO. Always kept my hands dry and, for the most part, warm (they only got cold in below zero and windy conditions). I love all the features: wrist strap, goggle wipe, and especially the nose wipe. I thought the palms and fingers had plenty of grip. The only gripe I can think of is about the sizing; I had to get size XL even though I wear M or L in most other gloves (size M in the North Face Denali gloves). Enjoy.

I bought this last winter and they were already shredding along the thumb and palm. They kept my hands decently warm. Also, there was a gap in between them and my jacket. I would always be cold around my wrists and get snow in there. I tightened them up as much possible and even put my shell over it them, but nothing worked. I would recommend them for everyday use, but not skiing.

From TNF and for the price I expected these to be much warmer. Only used these for resort skiing and they just did not keep my hands warm. Maybe they can't hold up in the wind as another reviewer suggested. Also got a significant rip (along the stitching where the thumb meets the palm) after about 6-8 uses. Got some Burton Mittens and have been happy with them so far.

These gloves are warm, flexible, and durable. Have used these for 4 straight days of skiing in Vail, Breck, Winter Park. The guantlet is the perfect length, and the adjustable straps on top are great for sinching the gloves tight. The only down fall is the synthetic material on the plam side. The gloves are slippery on ski poles and when trying to loosen your boots with snow on them, it gets worse. If this is a main concern, then look into the Dilithium or Patrol II gloves.

I recently bought these and tried them out but I decided to take them back for a refund. I thought I could find something warmer for the money. My fingers were freezing after a few minutes and that was inside of a car, just imagine if I had gone skiing with them....maybe the breathable material is a little bit too breathable..... They might be great gloves for certain temperature ranges closer to 0 C but I had them on around --17 C and they were definitely not adequate.

I bought these based on the average reviews and just used them for powder skiing up in BC. If you do not touch any snow and are strictly using them for light conditions, I imagine they would be fine. For me, I used them in deep powder and by lunch they were completely soaked. I ended up buying a pair of Dakine's after the first day. I would NOT recommend these.

These gloves are fantastic. Just like the other review, i have rode in all sorts of weather with no cold to the fingers and hands at all. Love the straps too. My pair is still in good shape after a year and 28 days of riding! There is only a minor worn area by the tip of my right index finger from dragging it when I lay down on a heel edge on some steeps. Almost want to buy another pair for when these run out. Sick gloveys!

These are terrible! My hands were freezing within 6 minutes. I have a pair of $20 gloves which are far warmer. Shame on North Face!!
My friend got the same ones but in mitten style and can't use hers either in our environment (Alaska) because they just don't keep the wind out.

the only pair of gloves i will ever use, with out a doubt the warmest, most comfortable gloves i've ever used. get them
