The North Face Modulus Jacket - Men's - 2007

Thanks to Gore-Tex Pro Shell fabric, The North Face Men's Modulus Jacket stands up to harsh mountain weather. Wear this lightweight, waterproof breathable jacket on your ski-touring and mountaineering trips. A back stretch panel and stretch panels at the elbows allow for plenty of mobility as you skin up the trail, and the Modulus Jacket's helmet-compatible hood keeps your head dry during winter storms. Unzip the underarm vents to dump heat as the day warms up. With the high placement of the Summit Series Modulus Jacket's front chest and alpine pockets, you'll be able to reach tissues and lip balm even with a waistbelt or harness on.

Bottom Line: Send your ice climb and reach the summit wearing The North Face's lightweight, waterproof Modulus Jacket.

The Last Jacket You Will Ever Buy!

By:

Great Jacket!
The best item that TNF has made in the last 20 years!
Has tons of functions, plenty of style and fits perfectly!
I was wavering between the Modulus and the $599 Alpha SV by Arcteryx. The Alpha SV did not only lose points for the astronomical price tags, but also for fit. The shoulders on the SV are extra baggy and square and it lacks a dual belay zipper-which also serves for a vent when things heat up.
So I went with the Modulus and used the extra money saved to get some new ice climbing gear and I couldn't be happier.

great jacket

Jacket is awesome. It runs a little short. I purchased a medium (5'8") but when moving around it seemed to be tight in the sleeves and under arm area. Chatted with reps and will be receiving a large one shortly. Jacket is great though. Warm in cold weather and breathes really well in warm. It's seen snow, sleet rain and I never had a drop of water get to me. Just watch the sizing. Great at blocking the wind, under 30 just wear a base layer (fleece)

A lifesaver in bad weather

The best thing about the Modulus is that it is a hundred percent waterproof and windproof. Even though it's a very thin jacket, it is quite warm.
It is very suitable for cold areas with all kinds of weather, like in the far north. Even though the temperature isn't that low, it is a great jacket.

this is the best jacket, hands down, no bones about it. you could jump in the shower with this on and not even feel damp, unbelievably light and fits like a glove, just wear some long underwear under and maybe a fleece if it's real cold, i snowboard and even in the worst of windy and cold nor-easters this coat has never let me down

This is one of the best jackets I have ever worn. It is extremely wind proof and breathes well. I used it climbing Rainier and it kept me dry and warm all the way to the top.

This jacket is sweet. Dose the job perfectly. Im a size M and I nearly orded the next size up because other comments saying its a bit short, but i trusted that it may be "fitted" and it is fine.
