The North Face McMurdo Down Parka - Boys'

The North Face Boy's McMurdo Parka works hard to keep your fast-growing human tornado warm despite his galloping, falling, and rolling around face-first in the snow. Rugged nylon fabric stands up to abuse without cooking your kid—it's breathable and waterproof. On the really cold days, cinch down the removable insulated hood complete with faux-fur trim. Of course, the McMurdo's 550-fill down insulation is some of the best in the business at insulation; not even a Minnesota winter will find its way through that much fluffy down. Write your question here...Im wanting to order this jacket for my 7 yr old son as we are going to Europe at Christmas time and Im not sure about what size to order. I was thinking of a small but when I went to select that size there wasnt one available. Does this jacket not come in a small?

Got this jacket for my 5 year old son...XS is pretty roomy but fits him well. He might get another season out of it and then it's a hand-me-down to kid #2.

I know TNF stuff is totally suburbanized and is now the official garb of soccer moms everywhere, but I decided to put my gear-snobbiness on hold and pull the trigger.This parka is super-warm, fit is true and it handles moisture well. My son loves it and we're happy with the purchase.

Got this jacket for my 5 year old son after first trying the Aconcaqua. I was looking for a jacket that my son could put on and be warm enough in the winter even if he was only wearing one layer on top (he doesn't like having to layer up). This was the winner! Really well designed and constructed. Heavy, waterproof fabric, down-filled, tons of pockets to stash hats and gloves in, down filled hood that you could remove, fur trim that is removable (my son didn't want it), a cord to cinch up the bottom so the wind doesn't get in. I got the XS for my son which is plenty big, but wearable. The cord helps to ensure that the jacket isn't gaping open at the bottom while he's still growing into it. We are going through a cold snap right now (temps 0-15 degrees), and I feel comfortable sending my son out in this jacket. Highly recommend it!

Yeah, or at least i would think so. You see, just this morning i was out in like -15 with some degree of windchill and i was toasty to say the least. Truly an amazing coat! THE NORTH FACE ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!
