This is the high performance shell that can withstand all the elements. The perfect outer layer for wind, snow, rain, cold and altitude. Plenty of maneuverability and just the right weight for long moving days. It is a reliable and trustworthy product that stood up to the test for our team on an expedition to GII in Pakistan this summer as well as tough winter days in the backcountry and on the ski mountain in the Telluride area. Plenty of pockets and great pit zips to control temperature as well as for storage of misc items. Good zippers, strong fabric, and well cut hood. The high collar is notable as it is wide enough to not be constricting yet allows for full wind and storm protection. This is a masterful shell for the outdoors person who does it all and in bad conditions.

does the mammatus have handwarmer pockets? It's not just a shell, right? It's the only thing I would need to wear out in the cold?

Don't think so. Almost every Gore-Tex Pro shell technical shell, is just that: A shell. You'd freeze solid if it was cold enough to need handwarmer pockets if you didn't wear a fleece underneath

Hi I live in Australia, Qld. We have had some gear shipped out from you last week, my partners stuff fits gr8 but mine is way to big despite measuring to your guide. We need to return both my pants and would like some other gear in exchange and to purchase more. Is North Face gear sold to us aussieS or is like Artecx and Oakley and not allowed. this jacket is incredibly simple with impeccable functionality--just vents, pockets, and waterproofness. Perfect for backcountry skiing in any weather in my opinion!
