About The North Face Boys’ KCS Denali Fleece Jacket. First, there’s the fact that The North Face made this fleece with recycled Polartec fleece, a DWR coating, and abrasion-resistant Taslan overlays (good for the earth, and good for withstanding rough wear-and-tear). Second, the Khumbu Climbing School patch on the chest shows that proceeds from this jacket go toward supporting the KCS school (a training and instructional program for the Nepali people). Third, it’s comfy for hiking, backpacking, and layering.
