The North Face Hustle Stripe Triclimate 3-in-1 Jacket - Men's - 2008
Wear The North Face Men's Hustle Stripe Triclimate 3-in-1 Jacket to catch first chair in the morning, then shed the inner fleece layer once the sun pokes its bright head up over the ridge. Waterproof HyVent fabric blocks moisture while still breathing. Tons of pockets inside and out carry goggles (even an included goggle-wiping cloth), lift pass, MP3 player, beer, and an old postcard from Texas with a picture of a longhorned cow wearing a cowboy hat on it. The North Face built Underarm zips and a powder skirt into the Hustle's shell, and covered it with pinstripes to make you the most stylin' flyer on the mountain.
Very Nice Looking Jacket , got 2 compliments from strangers on first day. Not as warm as i thought it would be. But definetely warm enough for low 30's. Fleece layer helps. I wish it would zip in though instead of latching on at 3 spots. Overall a very nice jacket and dont regret making the purchase. 8/10
I used this jacket on two warmer days in Vail and utilized the vents under the arms to keep my core from overheating. The third day the jacket was totally put to the test in a full white out storm with rain, sleet and snow, never skipped a beat and the hood worked great. Pockets are all functional and the high neck line was a must in the blinding snow up on the top. Two thumps up.
Can anyone give me an idea on how heavy the shell is? If I'm wearing it when it's 50 F (10 C) is it going to be to warm? Basically I guess I need to know whether the shell is lined or more like a heavy windbreaker. Thanks.
not heavy at all little more than a windbreaker but its built that way its a jacket to layer up or down 3 in one not as warm as i thought i was in 30 minus but 50 your fine
As someone who has owned several North Face jackets over the years I must say this is one of the best. Besides the fact that the jacket just looks bad ass on it also has pockets in all the right places. Especially the one in the left sleeve, perfect for a cell or camera! Went riding with it a hot chilli 1/4 zip base and a North Face mid layer 1/4 zip and was good on the chair lift in 20 degree weather wind blowing at 20 to 30. If you live in Gilford NH don't buy it! Only one per mountain! lol.
I bought this jacket on sale and am pretty happy with my purchase. You can't go wrong with The North Face quality and name. With the liner it is pretty warm, I took it out one morning with the thermometer reading 4 degrees and was fine on the slopes. My only complaint is with the liner it is a little small in the arm pit area, but I got used to it.
i agree with dob.slavik. i bought the bittersweet brown on backcountry.com after seeing the jacket briefly in person. it's pretty dope and classy at the same time. the pinstripes are subtle. the included fleece is nice enough to wear on its own. i would definitely recommend this for a mild winter coat or with layering for colder weather.
some things to keep in mind when ordering online, the fleece doesnt zip into the shell, the hand pockets are low and not angled comfortably, and when fully zipped the shell's collar comes up a little higher than most. but chalk those up to nitpicking.
overall, a solid north face that has a great look. 8/10
