The North Face Horizon Utility Capri Pant - Women's

The North Face Women's Horizon Utility Capri fits the bill for those hot summer days when you want to hit the trail with shorts, but a little extra leg coverage seems like a good idea. Made of lightweight ripstop nylon, the Horizon Utility Capri takes the abuse of bushwhacking and won't make you swelter in hot temperatures. The North Face even gave this quick-drying capri a UPF 30 treatment to provide extra sun protection when you travel under a crystal clear sky. *Not available for shipment to Canada.

Bottom Line: When you can't decide between shorts and pants, split the difference and go with The North Face Horizon Utility Capri.

Summer Pants

By:

I bought a pair of these pants last year and am happy to see that the material and fit is exactly the same. These are perfect for hot summer nights (or days), and provide the right fit for hiking or just sitting in a car on a long drive. If TNF fits you well, you will love these pants.

I guess it depends on where you are considering your waist. They don't sit as high as your belly button but they also aren't consider a shorter cut. These sit right on your hips. My wife loves hers:)Hope that helps.

If you go with a medium the range is 8/10 so if you're on the small size of 8, almost to a 6 I'd got with a small. If you're in an upper 8 I'd go with the medium.Hope that helps.

Undecided

I love The North Face anything, but these pants were not quite my favorite. They do fit true to size if not a little smaller. I wasn't sure how the nylon would breath, but they seemed to hold up okay to a mountain hike in Hawaii. They do not move the way I like a pair of capri pants to move, but maybe it's the material.

Comfy!

These are probably the most comfortable capris I have ever had. I ordered a size up just because I wanted extra room for being really active. They keep me cool. I hate when I'm hiking and get sweaty and then your pants if they're snug at all get even more uncomfortable, so I usually order 1 size up for my hiking pants anyway. If you don't like looser fitting clothing then they definitely fit true to size.

Love these pants

Wore them daily in Central America and the Caribbean. Did not show dirt or wear. Seemed to breath well. When I crumpled them in my bag, they were wrinkled when I took them out, but after wearing them a short while, the wrinkles fell out and they looked fresh. When I did wash them by hand, they dried quickly. I'll wear them around town now that I am back home, and I'll definitely use them next summer when I'm on the Grand Canyon because of the previously mentioned benefits as well as the built in sun protection.
