The North Face constructed the Men's Hayden Shoe with eco-conscious materials to minimize your eco footprint on country trails or strolls through the plaza. Rugged, earth friendly construction and handsome styling make the Hayden the shoe for men creating solutions. The North Face made the Men's Hayden Shoe from bamboo, plant cellulose, cork, and 40% recycled rubber to prove that lifestyle and nature can find harmony.
Bottom Line: Sip Horchata and find balance by wearing the eco-friendly Hayden.
TNF killed it with these shoes. For a casual, comfortable, cool looking shoe, these are at the top of their game. I like the wide foot bed, giving your toes plenty of room to spread out, and for me the yellow laces on the shroom brown suede looks P.I.M.P. It's also good to support a shoe that is making a "step" in the right direction by using bamboo and cork to minimize the petroleum based nature of everything outdoors apparel these days!! The cork also makes for a shoe that breaks in to the intricacies of you feet. Also these shoes hold up really well, so it's a pretty solid package all around!
You can't go wrong with these. Super comfy, great looking around town shoes. Run true to size - also nice that they come with two sets of laces for two different looks. Midsole has been keeping it's cushioning longer than expected.
I'm up in snowy Saskatchewan. I'm looking for a casual, warmish, stylish shoe to wear through the winter. Nothing rugged or anything but just wondering how this shoe would fair in the snow?
I don't have this exact shoe, but I have a NF shoe that has the same tread and was looking forward to using it in the snow - it's very grippy. My shoe (and this one looks similar) feels very light though, almost like a slipper and doesn't seem like it would be that warm. That's what socks are for though, right?
Of casual shoes that look descent and would be good in the snow I think this would be a great choice! You also might check out the line of El Naturalista which BC.com carries. I just got a pair and they're crazy comfortable and seem to be descent in the foul weather.Hope that helps.
I wear a 9.5 size shoe these fit perfect. The shoes are very light and comfortable, right away they felt like they had been broken in already. Might not be the best shoes if you stand a lot.
is this shoe sized small? For example, I need a 9.5mens and if I were buying Nike, I would have to buy a 10 because Nike sizes their shoes on the small side.
super comfortable, fits true to size, and they look great. that's everything i need from a shoe. they are a little darker than than the online pic would suggest, but i still love 'em. shorts or pants or jeans, looks good with everything. if you're on the fence about these shoes, go ahead and get them and you'll thank yourself later, i promise.
Yes, it is. I was in a TNF San Francisco store today and handled the shoe. It is very flexible and comfortable right off the bat. I would wear it day hiking, no questions asked. This shoe is not ideal for day hiking the sole is thin and not stiff. This shoe is great for hiking on pavement but a trail might be too much.
i just bought these, and i already love them. they have a great look. they are extremely comfortable, and seem very well made (i guess we will see about that..) also: they are a little bit insulated (compared to my regular tennis shoes) so i think that they will be great in the winter, because it is winter now and my feet have been getting cold lately.. great buy!
These are some awesome casual shows. They run true to size for me (12) and feel extremely comfortable right from the start. I look at them as a shoe version of a birkenstock in terms of comfort and style.
I did grab some suede aerosol (completely negating the whole earth friendly thing, I know) which seems to help avoid water/stain issues with the suede finish.
