The North Face Hammerland Capri Pant - Women's - 2008

You might get hot walking around with hammers in each of the front and back pockets of The North Face Women's Hammerland Capri Pants. Thank goodness you can roll up and secure the bottoms of these capris—a few inches can really cool your legs off. If you don't live in a land where it's against the law to be caught without hammers or at least crowbars in all of your pockets, the roll-up feature on the Hammerland Pants comes in handy on hot summer days.

Bottom Line: The North Face Hammerland Capri Pants won't weigh you down.

Very Cute, But Odd Sizing

These capris are definitely functional, cute, & made from comfortable material (they get 5 stars for those categories). But, I feel that the sizing is very odd. I have several pairs of North Face pants (sizes 6-8) and they have always been a perfect fit. I ordered these in an 8 because I wanted a little extra room. They fit, but are very tight in the hips & butt. If you have a more "shapely" bottom half, I'd suggest looking elsewhere (especially if you don't want to be pulling out wedgies all day).

I was looking a pair of presentable, yet comfortable short pants to wear to work in the summer. I ride my bike to work so I needed a cropped length and material that keeps me cool and flexible. I wear them at least twice a week, with no complaints. It came with a fabric belt, but I don't wear it. The pockets are ample and belt loops strong.
