The North Face Fire Road Trail Running Shoe - Women's - 2008

If you're looking for lightweight shoes that'll handle both roads and smooth trails, slip into The North Face Women's Fire Road Trail Running Shoes. A women's-specific ergonomic footbed feels comfortable, while the Fire Road Shoe's rear-foot pad absorbs shock and reduces overpronation when your heel strikes. Great multi-tasker

So far, I'm really satisfied with these. Did some decent hikes in them, and they did well - no obvious blistering or rubbing. Haven't done much running in them yet, but they should be perfect for fall. Plus, the great price doesn't hurt either - snatch 'em up while they're 1/2 the price of what they go for in the NF stores.

I've had my shoes for a month and I really love them! I have searched high and low for the perfect pair of walking/hiking shoes-and at last! Six and a half months ago I had bi-laterial knee replacement surgery (Both knees replaced at the same time)so the perfect pair of shoes is extremely important for me.They are the ultimate in walking and hiking comfort!

This running shoe is perfect for me when i'm not sure what surface or multi surface roads.
They work well for distances of 1/2 marathons. True to size

Dude, totally love these shoes. Just ran my first half marathon in them on the road, and they kicked a**. True to size, the yellow is a cool, mellow color. I've never had a road running shoe, so I am no expert. But, I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend these shoes to anyone that loves a good, supportive shoe. Happy trails ya'll.
