The sun can be brutal during your climbing and hiking adventures. Good thing The North Face made the Women's El Cap ¼-Zip Shirt with UPF 30-rated fabric. This wicking shirt also has a front zipper so you can unzip a bit before your next overhanging section. If the weather moves in, The El Cap Shirt's lightweight fabric keeps bulk to a minimum as you layer a shell on top.

The shirt has a wonderful cut and is very flattering. It also works alone or as a layering piece. I wore it both climbing and boarding and was very comfortable. It also looks really cute with a pair of jeans.

fits perfect. i'm 5'6", 125lb and have a small. loose enough to layer underneath but fitted enough to not look boxy or awkward. super-comfortable and breathable too.

I'm too quite tall, 5'9'' and this fits perfectly in S. Usually I have problems with the arms that are to short, but this was good. I have bought other NF products, all in Small and they all fit good.

Great Addition to North Face Collection

This shirt has wonderful material. It breaths easily, though it isn't too thin. I ordered a small and it fits a little larger in the body than my other 1/4 zips from North Face.

Great for climbing and skiing

I have the El Cap Shirt in several colors and wear it climbing and skiing. It's a great layering piece or on it's own. I like that it's fitted and does not restrict movement. I have XS and it fits true to size -- order a size bigger if you prefer something less tailored.
