When you're not hiking, climbing, or otherwise getting out there, wear The North Face Men's Dogpatch Pant for casual comfort. The North Face garment-washed these cotton twill Dogpatch Pants for a soft hand and gave them straight-leg, khaki-inspired style.
Bottom Line: For the days you hang around town, The North Face made the Dogpatch Pants.
Good pants dressier than jeans but still casual. The fabric is much lighter than I guessed from the picture so they're not super tough. The rivets and the "North Face" sewn-on label prevent them from being appropriate for many work situations that would require a tad bit more formality (of the Dockers variety). So they're something between jeans and casual dress pants.
I wear a 34x32, so a 34 Reg fit perfect. These pants are light weight, soft, and extremely comfortable. These are hands down my favorite pants right now. They look great with boots or tennis shoes too - very versatile. They are very durable and have held up to a lot of abuse. I would take these on camping trips for sure, but they look just as great out on the town. I plan on buying a few more pairs in different colors.
Nope - they are cotton. If you are looking for pants that easy maintenance, I would look at The North Face Paramount Utility Pants- they are synthetic and you should not have to iron them.
Dog patch pants are true to size. After a good wash, they shrink just perfectly to wear with flip flops or hiking boots. I have three diff colors. love 'em.
I love these Dogpatch pants. Low rise and short crotch, unlike so many jeans today. Very light material, yet they hang well so it doesn't look like you're wearing nurses' scrubs. These aren't really work or climbing pants, though. More of a casual-wear option, as they are too light for rough-duty. For $25 on SaC, a no-brainer. Buy 'em!
great khakis for any occasion. comfortable and light, these pants will go anywhere and look good. as with all the north face products, construction is up to par and the size 38x30 was true. im buying two more pair in different colors
I really have no reason not to give these pants the full 5 stars. North Face has made a very high quality pair of pants here. The fabric is soft, breaths, and feels great. You can happily wear these pants out on trail, in the city, or even to the office. The fit is really nice too, and hugs in all the right places (assuming you want it to hug in "the right places"). Note: I am 6' 2'' and generally wear a 34'' 34'' and I think that these run like a 35'' maaaybe 36'' in length. Originally I got the 34'' waist and then returned it for a 36'': TOO SMALL, TOO TIGHT. Shoot for one size larger in the waist and you'll be happy you did. Great pair of pants.
These pants are pretty nice. The best part about them is they are very soft and comfortable. These are good casual work pants, and also good climbing/hiking pants.
Are you wondering what size is 30 and what size is 32? Depends on the waist but for the most part the average length is generally 2" longer than short.Hope that helps.
I own 2 pair of these now; they are great for keeping it comfortable, but decent looking enough to go out on the town. They look good with sandals or casual sneakers. The only negative is that they are difficult to iron (cut isn't like an actual pair of khakis/chinos but slightly looser).
I wear a 31 waist with a 27"-28" inseam. If I get the short inseam 30" does anyone know if they can be shortened without a telltale sign? Would I be better off getting the longer medium inseam?
Nice light confortable pants. I like the fitting not too baggy but not too tight. Looks pretty nice, possible to wear in almost any activity(except maybe toxedo party), relax look but classi. For 35$ great price/value ratio. I will buy another pair. Shrink to 1-2 sizes lower when washed hot water first time. I 160lbs 5''11-6'' and i wear 32 long (hot water wash).
The "long" is listed as a 34 in inseem, but after trying on several pairs, I would say it's more like a true 32 in inseem. I liked the pants overall: good styling and athletic fit, but too short. I am a true 34x34, but these are not taylored correctly
2 Stars might be a little harsher than I really feel, but I've been a bit disappointed. I actually have 2 pairs. My main complaints are that the fit in the seat is poor and that the pockets are poorly sized. The front pockets are too shallow and things fall out when I'm sitting, and the rear pockets are strangely cavernous (though this is less of a problem). For reference, I'm 5'8, 155, and the 32 short fits better than the regular (the regular length drags on the ground more than I'd like).
Very comfortable and pretty true to size. 32 Long (32x34 is my normal size) fit perfectly. Material is not heavy, so there is some compromise of strength, but it is made up for by the softness. Great for everyday casual use.
Bought a pair of these off steepandcheap for $20, like them so much that I'm buying two more for full price. They're perfect for bike commutingsuper soft and comfortable, but flexible enough for the office. I'm a 34x32, and the 34 reg is perfect.
I normally wear a 36X34 and i ordered the 38 and they fit fine around the waist but they are too short. Other than that they are a great light pant for having to work in the heat during the summer.
