The North Face Diad Boa Shoe - Men's - 2007

Wear The North Face Men's Diad Boa Shoes and keep your feet from getting waterlogged as you skip across rain-swollen streams. Whether you're portaging your kayak from lake to lake, or out on a short walk in the woods, the water-resistant upper material won't retain moisture, while open air-mesh keeps your feet cool. If you're schlepping through water, the Diad's open ports drain water quickly so you don't spend the rest of the day in squishy shoes. Turn the dial of the Diad's Boa lacing system to tighten and make micro-adjustments on the fly, and maintain traction across slippery terrain with The North Face's grippy rubber outsole.

Bottom Line: Cross the stream and keep on going in The North Face Diad Boa Shoes.

Satisfied Cynic

By:
June 26, 2007

These were my first sneaker style amphibious shoe and I was cynical as to how well they would perform. My main concern was how much they would weigh me down in an emergency swimming situation and I was pleased that I could swim well enough while wearing them. They shed dirt and water even better than expected and the insoles are great. Sand can be a bit uncomfortable but that's no shock and it is bearable. These shoes are very light and cool and are surprisingly comfortable, way better than my sandals.
Finally, the Boa system was odd at first but I found them great for easily adjusting the tightness as needed. I found that adjusting them after ten minutes of movement re-situated the shoe perfectly. All in all I am very pleased after my first four or five uses and am now considering investing in some Boa system snowboard boots as tying mine now, well sucks...

Not Bad

By:

Seeing how the temperature was minus 8 degrees when I received these shoes, in wearing them around the house , they seem ok, Enough room for the toes and the BOA tie system allows for the perfect fit. They should be super in wet activities
