The North Face Deception Insulated Jacket - Men's

It looked sunny outside your window this morning—how were you supposed to know there was a small-dog wind-warning on the slopes? Good thing The North Face made the Deception Insulated Jacket with a WindStopper shell.

  • PrimaLoft insulation adds warmth without bulk
  • Breathable, lightweight WindStopper shell helps block wind and allows excess heat to escape
  • Powder skirt keeps snow out during yard-sales

Bottom Line: What wind?

Fashionable, Functional, Pretty Much All Around Great Jacket!

Kinda like an old school windbreaker (much nicer, better constructed however), but with a major lining! I like to own at least one coat that I have little to no concern about what the outdoor temperature is, no matter how low it gets. I haven't really had the kind of weather to check that (yet), but this coat feels more like down than primaloft already (which is supposed to be a down alternative, but usually doesn't cut it IMO). I don't anticipate any disappointments, if you're looking for something quite a bit warmer than the standard coat (and especially if you don't want a down jacket) you should probably consider this.

p.s. Where do they sell these North Face Summit Series jackets (other than places like Backcountry, of course)? This jacket seems quite a bit better than the kind of North Face stuff that you see at the malls!
