Nice coat

I also didn't like the pit zips. They were uncomfortable. The pockets were nice and it seemed like it would be good for skiing. But the cut of the jacket makes it come in at the waist and I didn't like that either.

Being a lover of all things North Face--I found this jacket to be everything I was looking for in a shell/waterproof/super styling jacket. The colors are fantastic and the little pocket on the sleeve is way cool for lip balms or iPods or multi-tool. Very flattering fit, just a wee bit tight in the shoulders, but fits really well over my North Face Flight 900 down jacket. Highly recommend this jacket! And Backcountry rocks! Awesome customer service and super fast--like lightening--delivery.

I was very hesitant ordering this jacket because of the mixed reviews. I decided to go ahead and buy it because I loved the color! I was so happy that I did! It kept me warm with some layering. I had no problem staying warm on the chair lift. My arms did not get cold at all. It is nice and light and the snow skirt worked great. I received many compliments too. A great buy!

I was really hesitant about ordering this jacket because of the mixed reviews. I ended up ordering it because I just loved the color! Hot pink! I am so glad I did. It was bitter cold on the 2 days of snowboarding and with 3 light layers underneath this great jacket, I stayed warm! The snow skirt worked great too and loved all the pockets. It's nice and light. I also received many compliments!

What temps are you looking to stay warm in? This jacket should be good down to the low 20's or possibly the higher teens. I guess if you're going colder you could always do a light layer.Hope that helps.

The Decagon is stylish and "Pop-Pink" is the prettiest but.............while the torso portion of the jacket is warm, the arms feel as if you're wearing nothing at all. Even with layering. Don't know if this is adequate for COLD weather.
