The North Face Cooper's Hill Trail Running Shoe - Men's
The North Face made the Men's Cooper's Hill Trail Running Shoe for fast-paced travel through places where trails are a luxury and fallen trees, bushwacks, and boulder fields are commonplace. The aggressive, sticky UltrATAC outsoles provide top-notch traction on anything from mud to rocks to wet roots, so you don't have to slow down until you get to your destination. The North Face's durable synthetic upper withstands travel in areas where deer paths represent an “easy section,” and lots of mesh helps the Cooper's Hill Shoe keep you feet cool when you have to strip shirtless under the blazing sun.
Bottom Line: You don't need no stinkin' trails when you have The North Face Cooper's Hill Trail Running Shoe.
These shoes are extremely comfortable and have not given my feet any pain while running. The orange color is really cool and you'll love all the compliments that come along with them
trail shoes are considered too stiff in the midsole, and too heavy for a pavement shoe. pavement shoes are more cushioned and designed with a focus towards use injuries, where trail shoes are designed with stiffness and support in mind. wear is also an issue with overly aggressive trail tread patterns. of course you can use trail shoes on pavement, but if you're running more than 10 miles a week on pavement alone, you probably want a pavement shoe in addition to your trail running shoes.
Good looking shoes, great for going on vacation and taking on any kind of terrain, they have good ventilation so you wont be sweating have not taken them yet to the trail but they are really comfortable. they would benefit a lot from the boa lacing system but its not an option, at least not that i know
North Face Trail shoes are excellent. I would recommend these in a heartbeat. My feet are 4 1/2 wide. These shoes breath really well also if your worried about blisters because your feet are going to rub, but my wide feet have no problems.
I have the GTX version of these shoes, and they are awesome. My heel was locked so that it did not slip, and there was just the right amount of room in the toebox. The grip should handle anything that is thrown at it. Great shoe!
These shoes are really, really comfortable. They breath great. I've found myself wearing them all over, not just running trails (at which they excel, btw).
These shoes fit great, normally I wear a 13 eee on my very wide feet. I got these in a 13 and they fit great! they have excellent traction and have great breathability for a waterproof shoe!
My last name is Cooper so I had to get these shoes. Aside from that they really do perform well.
I have a bit of experience running at the ultra level and I train in these shoes 3-4 days a week on a double track mountain bike trail in the local national forest.
I love these shoes. I wish that they came with the BOA lacing system as an option, but the flat strings make for a taught, easy lacing system. They afford great traction in loose sand, soil, and muddy terrain and after several days of running they don't feel heavy or cumbersome. They do great for efficient runners such as myself considering they only come in one width.
They are not a paved surface shoe by any means, but for the trail, mountain, or dirt road your investment in these shoes is sure to pay off. I run a lot of unimproved trails that have brush, scree, and debris and they do great on those trails as well. My next pair will without a doubt be another pair of these along with the Gore TEX pair for serious mud runs.
No other company out there makes trail running shoes that compare to The North Face. Especially compared to these.
The North Face Copper Canyon Shoe is a nice stable trail runner. I have had problems with over pronation in the past and these seem to work well for me. As with other North Face shoes I have purchased these tend to a fit a little wider foot and fit pretty true to size. If anything go a half size small.
