The North Face Circe Backpack - Women's - 850 cu in - 2006
The compact size of The North Face Women's Circe Backpack provides just enough space for your books without making you feel like you're leaving on an expedition. Slide your notebooks and math text into the 850cu inch main compartment, and fill the front pocket with pens and other school necessities. The North Face used a women's-specific shoulder harness and well-padded back panel to make the Circe Backpack incredibly comfortable as you stroll across campus.
Bottom Line: Stop lugging around some huge bag, and get yourself The North Face Circe Backpack.
Pros: Very lightweight, easy to pack, sleek look, option to insert camelback hydration system, water bottle holders. Cons: Basically one big pocket so everything is mixed in together. Overall: Good value.
I just purchased this backpack for school. Being a busy college student, it definitely has enough room for all the stuff I need throughout the day--two mesh beverage holders on the sides, room for my books and several inner pockets and compartments. It is very woman-friendly, and doesn't look all fat and bulky like some backpacks do.
I purchased this pack to use for vacation and it was perfect. Very comfortable for an entire day at Disneyland and held up well on the "splash" rides (no water inside). Also was great for the beach - dirt and sand brushed off easily. Fits my 5'2" frame very well. (Also fits my 9 year old son, and 6 year old niece - everyone wanted to use it! We took turns.)
I bought this bag for school (I am a college student) and let me tell you, it is absolutely perfect for the average female student! It took me actually a few weeks to decide on a backpack because I was being SUPER picky; I was tired of messenger bags hurting my shoulder, I wanted comfort & support for my small frame, and I did NOT want anything huge or bulky (because I am short I found this to be the biggest obstacle). Plus it had to be pretty. I compared reviews on several websites and mulled over dimensions before finally settling on this bag. For the average college student who does NOT need to carry all their notebooks and texts at the same time, this is the ideal bag. I can fit 2 - 3 spiral-bound notebooks, plus several average-sized texts (I have no huge hardcover books to tell you how they'd fit). I have room for a water bottle and some lunch. I do not have to carry around my laptop, but my 15" PowerBook does *just* fit. Also the front pocket is perfect for pens, some money, keys, ID card, glasses; whatever loose things I need to toss in there. The side mesh pockets hold my phone and lipgloss currently, for easy access. I was initially torn on whether a smaller bag would work for school, but I'm so happy I went with it. I would not recommend this bag for the college girl who actually has to carry all of their books with them, but since most people have time between classes I don't see that being a problem. This backpack is a fantastic investment in my opinion; it's durable, has enough room, and is comfortable on the back.
I gave this to my daughter (college age) for Christmas and she loves it. The design for women is very evident and greatly appreciated. It should be noted, a laptop does not fit inside this.
My backpack just arrived today from the mail and i got excited, i couldn't wait, when i opened it i thought this was a little too small but then when i adjusted the straps and fill it with books it was perfecttt! i was so happy that i carried it everywhere in the house. i couldn't put it down. I finally had a backpack that fits me!
So I bought the backpack for my friend for christmas. It says womens backpack which totally suits her. The only reason i bought the backpack because i thought it would have a sleeve for her laptop but it does NOT fit her Macbook. the sleeve looks like it can only hold envelops. Besides the laptop sleeve it fits although I am not satisfied with the product.
I am a graduate student and have only one class a day, I needed a backpack that can fit all I need in a day but I also wanted it to be small. I love it!
