The North Face Charli Triclimate Ski Jacket - Women's - 2007

While you won't look like one of Charlie's Angles in The North Face Women's Charli Triclimate Jacket, you will stay warm and dry on the ski hill. Waterproof breathable HyVent material blocks out snow and sleet so you can ski to your heart's delight. If a storm rolls in, flip up the detachable hood and adjust your powder skirt so you can bask in the white stuff. When it turns into a scorcher on those moguls, unzip the pitzip vents to let in some air. The Charli offers gads of pockets, so you can take along all your essentials—and then some.

Bottom Line: Good morning, Charlie. Good morning, Angles. Good morning, Charli Triclimate Jacket.

Love The North Face!

By:
January 19, 2007

I bought this jacket 2 weeks ago. I mostly ski in Southern California, where it can get really warm on nice days ( in the 50s) or really cold (10-20s) when there is a cold front coming from north. This jacket works really really well.
I purchased this jacket in tangle green, it stands out with my white ski pant, adding some color to my winter wardrobe, and looks pretty in the pictures. The snap-in jacket is the same color as the shell with light grey on the side.
I am wearing size 2-4 , so I got a small, and I think it fits perfectly.
But I wish the chest pockets could be made slightly bigger, so that I can carry more stuffs.

Completely warm and comfortable and still stylish enough to wear apres ski! Lots of great pockets to stash everything you'll need for a day on the slopes. Typically I wear a size 4 shirt, and the Small is a perfect fit.

Not Price Competitive!

By:
November 3, 2008

I had bought this jacket just a week back and now I realized the prices are not very competitive. The same jacket is being offered at a much discounted price in some other sites. Do check before you place an order here!

If you're a person who considers themselves to get cold easy maybe choose a down coat or a heavier insulated coat. If you're planning to use this for skiing or aerobic activity, you should be fine with the Charli with it's heatseeker insulation and removable liner to adjust for the appropriate temperatures. My guess is this thing will laugh at Piedmont.

Ordered in Ivory

By:
December 19, 2006

I ordered this for my daughter. I received the coat right away and absolutely love it. The only complaint is that it really doesn't look like it did in the pic. The inner lining appeared gray on the pic and once received, it was light brown...which my daughter hates! So, I'm going to have to return it for a different color after Christmas. She'll be extremely disappointed.

WOW!!!

By:
December 19, 2006

I was able to return a ski coat and assured I can expect the new coat to arrive before Christmas! This was so easy and these guys were incredibly accommodating. Kudos to you, Orson!
There will be peace, at least in this house, for Christmas!!!

Nice jacket but...

By:
March 26, 2008

the hood is too small to fit over a ski helmet which is pretty important on those windy New England days on the slopes.

Looks nice but not a great design

By:
January 9, 2008

I was looking for a warm jacket to use for both athletic activity and wearing around town. For athletic activity, it does not breathe well. I had to wash it after its first use because I got very sweaty in it. The liner does not zip into the shell making it difficult to easily put on the jacket. It also makes it less warm than if they zipped together. The pockets are not as useful either since some are in the shell and some in the liner. But it looks nice. It is somewhat warm, but not as warm as I would like. I should have bought the down liner.

I purchased the Triclimate ski jacket in odyssey pink. It's great! I finally found a jacket that I can wear and the wind won't even penetrate through! It's so warm and fluffy. Best purchase on a winter jacket ever!

Nice and toasty!

By:
February 6, 2007

I've been looking a jacket that's versatile, warm and not too bulky. This is it! Pockets in all the right places and the ability to keep me warm with -30 degree windchill (yup, it's been tested!).

Great Jacket - Very warm

By:
February 22, 2007

This jacket is awesome. It kept me very warm on the slopes in Colorado during very cold conditions. Most times, I just needed a pair of thermals and the jacket and i was toasty. I did not feel bulky and had great freedom of movement. Also has lots of pocket storage. Great jacket!!
Thanks!
