The North Face Boundary Triclimate Jacket - Women's
The North Face made the Women's Boundary Triclimate Jacket with a removable fleece liner, so you don't have to worry about what the weather will do on your ski trip. The North Face three-in-one jacket's waterproof breathable HyVent fabric and fully taped seams handle November flurries and March powder days with ease. The Boundary Triclimate Jacket's removable fleece liner adds insulation when needed, and you can wear it alone in mild weather. A removable hood and Underarm zips help you control your temperature on the slopes.
Bottom Line: The North Face Boundary Triclimate Jacket's three-in-one system meets any temperature and weather changes from the first October chill until the May melt.
I'm having a tough time finding this coat in the Green/White in a store BC, Canada, I noticed Sport Chek carries it but only in the Brown/White. And Some sports stores don't even carry any North face Gear/Clothing, Does anyone know what stores, in Canada carry North Face Clothing/Gear
I just got my jacket in the Knight Purple color and it looks so cute! I'm really glad I got the purple. I love the black furry fleece zip out liner... it's so soft. I'm 5'5" and 120# and the small fits me perfectly.
is the inner jacket, that really extra super soft material, softer than regular fleece? and does it shed, eg: will I get green/brown lint on my white/black t-shirt while wearing this coat?
It is the fuzzy, plush fleece and it sheds like a dog. I have the seafoam green / a moonlight ivory fleece and I can't wear a dark shirt at all with this jacket. Also, the fleece is bulky and the sleeves stick out of the shell. Pretty annoying
First of all, the live chats are excellent, the shipping is great, and finally the product...the Boundary jacket is very comfortable without the bulk. The inner fleece is incredibly soft and long that can be worn as a liner or by itself. The hood can be adjusted to fit helmets or scarves. I'm an older 5'2 and though the jacket is a little long, I love it. The fit through the chest and belly is just right. It's not fitted or loose, but just enough to layer under...The best part I like is the hood and collar. When it gets snowy or windy the collar is high enough to protect my chin and nose....I just love it so, that I had to write this review. The colors are great...pink and brown. It's just a great, warm jacket!
absolutely awesome!!! Pretty true to size. I love the 3 in one inner part that is the soft fuurry fleece. This is the warmest jacket I have ever owned and I am always cold. I was strictly a columbia jacket girl and I am so glad that I made the switch. Shipping was very speedy as well it came just as we got our first snow. The colors are so great that there are a couple of girls at school that have ordered the same thing after seeing mine.
Brown or white ski pants would probably look pretty cute & match the best, and the white would tie in well since there is white piping/striping in the jacket. Black could work too but only as a third choice.
Soft, and furry! So cozzy, I wish my sheets were made of this material. The wind couldn't penetrate, and I stay warm till I am safe and comfortable in front of the fire sippin hot cocoa!
This is basically a glorified rain jacket. This coat is basically a rain jacket with a very light fleece underneath. The fleece is so fuzzy that it gets all over your clothes and the sleeves of the fleece are so hard to keep in the shell. If you are wearing anything thicker than a long sleeve teeshirt, you will definitely struggle putting this coat on. This is not due to the size of the coat, but due to the fluzzy fleece. It does a great job as a rain jacket except that the hood doesn't work at all. Maybe it's just me, but the hood catches the wind really easily and comes right off my head! If it's raining, I have to hold the hood the whole time and my arm gets wet.
As for serving as a winter jacket, this coat failed horribly. I go to school in Connecticut where it is freezing cold and windy all winter long. I froze whenever I wore this coat. I can't really explain what about this coat makes it not work except that it is just so thin and the fleece does not add much warmth at all. The wind tore right through the coat. Please don't waste $200 on this coat, buy a down coat instead.
Two things I hate are the clips to attach it to the shell are on the inner jacket. They are annoying & in the way! Should have the loops on the inner jacket & the clips on the shell.
Also the inner jacket is longer than the shell. It hangs out about an inch in the back.
I am 5'7" & 120 lbs. I ordered a medium & could have gotten a small. It is nice to have room though for bulky sweaters though.
The sleeves are nice & long!! Love that!
Overall a wonderful jacket & it is very warm. Perfect for our Michigan weather!
on your website u had a gypsey pink boundary triclimate jacket but it did not give me the color i wanted jasper pink and i would like to get it if u had that color.
The Gypsy pink/ brown one looks actually much better than the one on the picture. It is nice and warm. The length is just fit, not too short or too long. I love it! No wondering why it sells so fast. :)
Buying this as a gift. Daughter wanted a small but I am a bit leery of the fit being too small. She is pretty little, 5'4, 118 lbs or so. I am worried it is too small to wear a sweater under. Do you have a return policy?

this jacket keeps you really warm which is great for Utah winters! It kind of gets lint on it really easy, including hair. The description on this page also says the insert is fleece but it is actually a fuzzy looking polyester a dog type look not like the other Denali Northface jackets. Happy overall though
I am so disappointed, I ordered a jacket from a store close to my home for my daughter to have for Christmas. The store I was in said they could order it for me and did so why I was standing there. I returned to pick the jacket up and they had sent the wrong jacket. They told me it was to late to order another one, they were out of stock at the store where they ordered the orginial. Now I need to know if I can order this Brown and Pink jacket before Christmas. If I can Please let me know.
Assuming you are in the United States. Anything you order off here right now should make it to you well before Christmas. However they don't have brown and PINK in stock, unless you are referring to brown and WHITE, which they do have.
hey, i tried one on at the store and it was fine on me . You know not to short .. just long enough. This comming from someone so is rather thin and about 5'8. Hope that helps :)
Write your answer here. The inner fleece jacket/liner is long enough to wear by itself; at 5'2 it will fall right around the hips. It's not short like that of the 'older' jackets....you will like it. It's really soft, warm and great to wear around town without the outer shell.
I think it will. You'd probably have to layer well. Otherwise, check out Land's End....though the styles may not be so stylish, they do have a temperature rating assigned to specific outerwear jackets as low as minus 5 degrees.
