great overall bag

A great 3+ season bag for the price. I am 6'4" and the long version suited me just fine. I don't know why anyone else had problems with it but it keep me warm in 15 degree (F) temps in the dead of winter in mountains of Western Maryland and all I was wearing was boxers. Of course there are warmer and lighter bags but this bag does exactly what it is intended to do with the TNF name and a reasonable price.

IS this the exact same thing as TNF Mammoth? The description and pictures are the same. Is one newer version then the other? Price on the Mammoth is more expensive.

This bag offers exactly everything I needed and gets it done perfectly. If you're looking to purchase a quality 3 season bag you should consider this one. For the price its an unbeatable value. For the majority people this is all the bag you need unless you are into extreme weather or elevation situations.

what is the difference in insulation material between this bag

what is the difference in insulation material between this bag and TNF Aleutian? The Aleutain has better review and is cheaper.

The Blaze uses "Climashield HL" synthetic insulation which, according to TNF is better in damp conditions. The Aleutian uses Heatshield Optimal Technology™ (H.O.T.™ SL) synthetic insulation which according to TNF is more compressible while retaining loft & warmth.

i am writing this review because i feel like the one that is posted is very misleading. the bag is great for summer. but in temps below 40 degrees it gets cold. i was restless throughout the night in temps above the freezing mark.

I have a thermometer in my watch and it say it's 20F (-7C). and I have a big hot meal before I go to sleep. and I freezing all night!
this bag is more 25F (-4C) or more!
