The North Face Belding Triclimate Jacket - Boys' - 2008
When your boy has The North Face Boys' Belding Triclimate Jacket and his snow-riding stick of choice, he's ready for a full day on the mountain no matter what the weather does. The outer shell's HyVent fabric and fully taped seams block water while the polyester fleece liner provides warmth when the temps drop. The removable fleece comes in handy when your boy is relaxing in the lodge, and this three-in-one jacket's hood comes off while the powder skirt stays on for wet spring conditions.
Bottom Line: A three-in-one with slope-friendly features.
How much bigger is the XL than the L? I ordered my son a Large, he normally wears 14's and it is pretty small on him. Smaller than we would like for it to be. If I exchange it for the XL is it going to be maybe just right or way big?
Is the fleece connected with the shell? If so, are there buttons, zippers, or other fastening material to make this a one piece unit when the fleece and shell are worn together?
I bought 3 of these - one for each of my sons, & they just skied in them for 10 days. Good quality for price, they are warm & lightwieght at the same time, the only complaint we have is minor but annoying: the way the inner fleece liner attaches to the cuffs but not the collar- when you take the jacket off the liner falls out & pulls the sleeves inside out. One other comment: they do run small.
Do you know the lenght of the sleeves, my son measure 27 1/2 inches, I wnet to the sizing chart but its not giving me the measurement on the sleeves for an xtra large jacket. Thank-You maryann
I have this jacket and it keeps me warm and it is durable. I agressivaley ski moguls, parks, and glades. this has been through A LOT and still going strong.
