I am looking for a 50L pack with a detachable day pack and well padded shoulder and waist straps.Do you recommend this pack and does this model come without wheels?

This pack is TA&C. Wrong specs. No wheels. I've had it all over Europe & Mex. Excelentee for quality & comfy. Day pack is adequate for essentials. Happy trails.

This is a good pack for sure. It's a quality pack by a quality brand. In response to the second part of your question however, this doesn't have any wheels. I think you might be looking at a different product that does have wheels. Be sure before you add it to your cart that you're positive you've got the right thing. This is a good pack though.

The picture of this bag featured everywhere shows one version that is grey with red accents and one version that is all black. However, every brick and mortar retailer I can find that carries this only have the grey/red versions, even when marked as "black" on the tag.I really like the quality and fit of this pack, but the whole point of this type of convertible travelpack is to be nondescript and unassuming, particularly in duffel form. Has anyone found this pack anywhere that is actually black as pictured? (All black, no hint of red anywhere.)Thanks
