The North Face Autumn Trekker - Men's - 2007

Leap over a stream crossing or high-step for that next foothold—The North Face Men's Autumn Trekker Pant's stretch fabric moves with you. Two zippered slash cargo pockets on these straight-leg, medium-rise cargo pants keep trail essentials like snacks, sunscreen, and a compass easily accessible. For even greater mobility, The North Face gave the Autumn Trekker Pants a gusseted crotch, so they won't hold you back as you hike up ultra-steep trails. A UPF 30+ coating protects your legs from the sun when the trail breaks out onto a high alpine meadow.

Bottom Line: Autumn, spring, or summer, The North Face Trekker pants get the job done.

Comfortable and stylish. I even have worn them during winter hikes with a baselayer underneath. They give you lots of room for mobility.

Look sharp - feel great

By:
July 15, 2008

While traveling in 95 degree plus weather, these pants kept me comfortable. It was rainy season, so we were drenched a few times, but the pants dried quickly and easily. If you need to pack light, these pants are a great option because they can be worn on a hike and still look sharp enough to wear out to dinner. The only downside is that the pants arrived with a broken zipper, but Back Country's amazing customer service was extremely helpful in resolving the issue.

Pretty good

As far as comfort and functionality goes, these pants are great. I wear them routinely in 95+ degree weather and they keep me cool. They also do a pretty good job keeping the wind out, especially if you zip all the pockets closed. Dry quickly. Only complaint is the design of the front slash pockets which zip to a flap rather than the leg itself, making the pants look a little wide at the hip.

I work for Adventure 16 in Solana Beach and we have a customer

I work for Adventure 16 in Solana Beach and we have a customer that is looking for a pair of TNF pants that I believe are discontinued but I, for the life of me, cannot figure out what they are/were called. They are a 100% nylon pant with zippered slash pockets on both sides. The Tag reads:

S06
102
013434
1005314

They are made in Bangladesh and I believe they are about 4 yrs old.

The customer is an older gentlemen who is passionate about the efficacy of zipper pockets. I am trying to find out if I can still get the pant or if tnf (or anybody else for that matter) makes a pair that has the zippered pockets; they could be hot pink as long as they have the slash-zips.

Thanks

nice

i've had these for about a month. they're pretty good! they wear well, super comfortable. dry quickly. repel stains fairly well. have to keep the pockets zipped, tho, otherwise they sort of look goofy. the lower leg has a fair flair to it, which i wish was cut a little closer to the leg, so they tend to flap a bit which can be an issue if you're hiking (they get muddier) or riding a bike (they'll get caught in the chain). workmanship seems solid, i haven't lost any stitching yet. belt loops seem right. only issue, really, is the leg, which I'd prefer as a boot cut or with a little less 'bellbottom' cut. if there were other colors like khaki i'd probably buy another pair

Fabric too hot

By:
September 16, 2008

I found the fabric to feel far too hot on tne legs on a medium warm day. I liked the zipper pockets, but returned the pants because the were just too warm.
