The North Face Atlas Triclimate Jacket - Men's

Whether you’re post-holing up a ridge or sledding with the kids, The North Face designed the Men’s Atlas Triclimate Jacket to protect you from the elements without bogging you down. This Flight Series jacket’s shell features HyVent waterproof breathable material and taped seams to help you stay dry inside and out, even when you exert. Wear the shell and midweight fleece liner on cold, wet days, and wear the shell alone when temps climb but a storm is in the forecast.

Bottom Line: Your winter jacket doesn’t have to be as heavy as the heavens to help you stay warm and dry.

I just ordered this jacket in a Medium for my husband who is 5'9" and about 160 lbs. Then, we went to the mall and tried a few NF jackets on and he said the medium felt constricting in the armpits, but the large was too big. I am wondering how this jacket runs? His Banana Repbublic dress and wool jackets are mediums. What should I do?

It depends on the NF jackets he tried. This being a 3in1 it might be snug. However, if he's not going to layer anything underneath it save a baselayer or tshirt, he should be fine. I wear a M in BR as well and did fine in a M North Face jacket.

The jacket is awesome. I have worn it in the snow and below freezing tempuratures and I have no complaints. I would buy another one if I had the money.

Maybe too hot for a rainy summer day, but great for a rainy spring day if you take zip-in insulating layer out and just wear the shell-
