The North Face Apex Zip Shirt - Women's - 2007

Wear The North Face Women's Apex Zip Shirt as a base layer on the slopes or as an ultra-light softshell on your trail runs. The wind- and water-resistant softshell material keeps you dry in light snow and heavy fog. With its soft brushed lining and ultra-light weight, the Apex Zip Shirt stays comfortable and packs easily. If the afternoon sun starts to heat things up, unzip the ¼-length front zipper and cool off before you start to sweat.

Bottom Line: The North Face's wind- and water-resistant Apex ¼-Zip Shirt keeps you dry and comfortable on your various outdoor pursuits.

It's hard to find good gear to wear in this weather. I love it! it was perfect for my vacation when it was cold some days and warm others. i would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good outer gear!

great lightweight jacket

By:
May 29, 2008

I bought this jacket because I wanted something lightweight to wear but when I received it I wasnt sure that I would like it because the material is very thin but I must say I have worn it several times. I live in Indiana and our weather is cool and rainy right now and this jacket has been perfect. I have worn it golfing several times and been caught in the rain and its been the only thing that has stayed dry. I would recommend it for a lightweight jacket for spring or fall.

A must have!!

I have two and they are the only sweatshirt you will ever need! Blocks wind, repels rain, wicks moisture, total temp control. Super thin for ease layering or wear as a top layer. Buy it!

Northface pullover

By:
July 18, 2008

This jacket was able to survive the jungles of Colombia. It was thin enough to handle the humidity and kept me comfortable in the cool evenings. It was excellent choice with the tropical weather in South America. I recommend this pullover jacket.

Love it...

I really like this North Face Apex Zip Shirt. I can wear it casually or in the elements. North Face products run roomy for those of us who are not stick skinny and that is appreciated.

Yup, it's thin!

By:
April 15, 2008

I also was surprised how thin this is. It would be good for running or to wear underneath a fleece, but not by itself.

Amazing

By:
April 24, 2008

This pullover is wonderful. I am a college student with early morning classes and the Apex shirt has been great. It is light enough to throw on when it is a little warmer out but still warm enough if it is windy and cool. I would highly suggest this product. However, it is shorter than other The North Face jackets, but that shouldn't be a deal breaker.

Thinner than I thought

By:
April 14, 2008

I bought this thinking I could wear it as a warmer layer under my north face rain jacket, but it's much thinner than I thought. I ended up returning it and buying a North Face fleece pullover instead. I should have payed attention to the fact that it's called a "shirt," not a jacket. I had gotten the white one, and you can see other colors through it. It's very thin. Probably great for running.

great for mild weather

By:
May 13, 2008

I didn't notice the reviews until after I purchased it, so even though it's thin, I was prepared for that. But it is a great jacket for mild weather, on warm rainy days I wear it too. It's great to run in at the beach. I'm very satisfied.
