The North Face Apex Magic Jacket - Women's - 2007

With its stretchy, water-resistant soft shell fabric, The North Face Women's Apex Magic Jacket keeps you comfortable as you cross country ski over pristine trails or snowshoe through enchanting meadows. Welded seams provide more durability and water-resistance than stitched seams, and the flexible fabric allows plenty of give so you don't feel like your freakin' Frankenstein. The North Face's smooth Apex Universal softshell fabric layers nicely under a shell during hardcore storms, and reflective logos keep you visible when dusk settles in.

Bottom Line: Luckily, staying dry doesn't involve a lot complicated chants and frog-leg brews. Just The North Face's Apex Magic Jacket.

Great softshell

This is great on its own in the spring and fall, when extra insulation isn't required. For the wintertime, I strongly suggest layering a fleece under it. I've never gotten wet in this coat, and it blocks your average wind.

good question. its actually not, this matierial is slightly less water and wind resistant but is stretchier, lighter, more breathable and more suitable for aerobic activities

All i can say is I love this jacket and I love the fact everyone else does... I live in Ireland but ordered it in the States.. so I am imagining you can't get it here which is GREAT... it is such a good fit and really light but warm enough.. can't take it off... If you live in the States buy it..
