Solid Vest

I've been very impressed with this vest. It is thin but retains heat very well. The fabric is super stretchy and it repels water and blocks wind like a champ. I got it for use as a midlayer under my Epsilon SV and it fits really well despite the athletic cut of the Arcteryx as well as my Alchemy. This vest is comfortable, close fitting but stretchy, and very effective. Worth the money.
Note: it has a hem drawcord and an internal chest pocket, neither of which is listed in the tech specs.

Not a question, but just wanted to add to my review of the Elixir.

Not a question, but just wanted to add to my review of the Elixir. I used it as a baselayer under my softshell while hiking Mount Katahdin in the rain and it worked really well both under the jacket and on its own. The fabric is comfortable against bare skin and it stayed dry even though my shell had soaked through.Also Angus, that isn't exactly an answer.

How is it that you're #7 Gear Guru on the site and you cant just put it in the review section?Well, can you show me how to do that? I posted the review a few days ago and I just got back from a 3 day trip today and figured I would let people know how the vest performed.

Quality was very good, nice lite vest for beating morning or evening cool. Details are nice .. inside chest pocket and outer pockets are great, drawstring waist is useful, reflective hilights, soft collar .. All round a nice product .. worth the loot.
