The North Face Apex Elixir Softshell Jacket - Men's - 2009

The North Face Men’s Apex Elixir Softshell Jacket will protect you from the elements as you head for the summit. The Apex Elixir features The North Face’s most-breathable softshell material, so you won’t drown in your own sweat during fast-paced hikes or forearm-pumping climbs. Despite being breathable, this material manages to block most of the wind (permeability of 10 CFM) and light precipitation, so you stay warm at high altitude. This performance-fit jacket fits over base layers and under hardshells with ease.

Bottom Line: When conditions in the mountains are chilly, drizzly, and windy, zip up the Apex Elixir.

This was the second northface i baught, and i love it i own the denali too, thin but keeps you dry and warm at the same time the girls friends likes it too

I would go with a medium, unless you would prefer a less athletic fit. I'm 6'2 and 170 and my medium fits fine.

just got the apex bionic today...so far so good, it was about 30 degrees this morning and it seems ok. Would probably be better if i had a long sleeve t shirt underneath, but it's unbelievably comfortable, stylish, and lightweight...great for spring/fall definitely!
