The North Face Angstrom 25 Backpack - 1525cu in - 2008

Sunny below and snowy at the top? The North Face Angstrom 25 Daypack is a hydration compatible pack for those all-day hikes and bikes when you're in a T-shirt at the trail head and in your fleece at the summit. Before you head out, stuff a couple extra layers in the Angstrom's large 1525cu in main compartment, throw an energy bar into one of the hip-belt's zip pockets, and ease into the yoke-style shoulder harness. Forget to put in your water reservoir, but you've already neatly packed your clothes and lunch? No worries. The Angstrom has a back-panel zip for your hydration bladder so you won't have to repack everything in the organizer pockets. Once you get that heart rate going, the incredibly breathable E-VAP back panel and shoulder harness keep you dry and comfortable. If the weather looks iffy towards the top, you're prepared. Whip out your hardshell from the rear X-bungee and cover the Angstrom with its rain fly. Getting dark? The reflective hits and rear light-loop ensure you'll be seen. The North Face Angstrom 25 is a versatile pack for the all-day adventurer.

Bottom Line: The North Face Angstrom 25 is a hydration compatible pack that knows you need to be cool at the bottom and warm at the top.

Great for long biking trips

By:
January 12, 2009

Got this pack 1 year ago and (a)used a lot on hiking and epic biking trips. It has plenty of room. On warm days you stay cool thanks to the back material. On cold winter days, it keeps you warm so yo forget putting on an extra layer of clothing since the pack is your extra layer. The straps let you adjust the pack comfortably around waist, chest and shoulders.
It is light and strong. While biking, the water bottle holders I use to carry my camera and I do not have to stop to get of the bike and search for it. The yellow pack cover is very waterproof and easily to mount.. I love it

Great size and features for day trips

By: Backcountry.com Employee

This pack has just the right amount of features for my basic trail hikes all the way up to full day technical outings. I really like the rear external pouch for quick stuffing access of my rain gear and hip pockets for bars and gel energy stashes.
