The North Face packed the Girls' Aconcagua Down Jackets with 550-fill down to give your leading lady enough insulation for a walk to school in frigid weather. Low-profile construction keeps the Aconcagua Down Jacket from feeling too bulky and makes it a great choice for everyday winter wear. The North Face added a brushed collar and insulated hand pockets to keep your girl as comfortable as possible during the chilly months.
Bottom Line: When winter makes the mercury plummet, keep your girl toasty in The North Face Aconcagua Down Jacket.
my 7 yr old daughter loves this jacket, mind you it is first north face ever own and I'm glad I have made the purchase thru backcountry.com. This jacket maintains ones core body temperature without over heating, surprisingly the material allows to breath. it seems bulky but my daughter never complaint about mobility during school activities. So, if you are thinking about your first purchase of North Face for your loves ones, don't hesitate. Oh, one suggestion, go next size one up because kid will out grow this jacket pretty quickly (you want them to wear for at least 2 yrs). Worth the money.
My daughter wore The North Face fleece all through high school, but when she started college I bought her TNF down jacket for the cold walks across campus. Originally, she was unsure if she wanted a puffy coat, but after one week of cold temperatures she LOVES it! I was also happy that even though she is 5'6" and 105lbs, she fit into the Children's XL, so I was able to save some money.
I recently bought this jacket on sale at REI for only $29. I am 5'5" US Size 6 and the girls' XL fits amazingly well. It does not show in the picture very well but it is a bit shiny and definitely looks feminine. I would advise buying this jacket if you are looking for something very warm and comfortable and can fit into the girls' size!
I don't think so, and if so, it would be advertised on the page, but you could try slipping it under a shell, which would keep you warmer, by having the jacket zipped up, with a shell on top. My sister does have a Columbia Woman's jacket that zips apart to have a down jacket and a shell, but I am not sure what it's called.
My daughter loves this coat. Fits well, good product quality. North Face is our outer wear of choice! Great coat, at a Super Backcountry price! Thank you.
Size runs small. Color was a little different upon arrival than pictured otherwise it was a nice jacket. Had to return though for size. Communication when calling to receive status on return was very poor, no information was given leaving customer to feel like return may or may not happen. Customer service would not even confirm in receipt of return. All around, not pleased.
Great Jacket!! Runs small order larger. My daughter is a 10-12 normally. Ordered 10-12 too small ordered XL it's a little big but she likes everything roomy. She tells me it's nice and warm.
It's been a few weeks and we both love this jacket. Stylish and warm. The brown color which is not easy to find, is attractive and hides dirt! I highly recommend the product.
This shouldn't be your first choice for your little one's skiing coat. It's not technically "waterproof" and is more "water resistant". This one was more intended for casual wear uses.
my husband ordered this coat for my five year old and she loves it. she loves how warm it is without feeling bulky when she has it on. i would definitely recommend this jacket
This is a very flattering jacket. My fashionista daughter has worn it non-stop since she got it. It is also nice and warm. She did say that she wished it had a hood.
I bought this jacket for my daughter for Christmas. It is warm, stylish and well made. She loves the soft fabric on the inside of the collar. I originally bought the medium, but exchanged it for a large because I thought she would outgrow the sleeve length too quickly. She is 10 and is tall for her age. It looks really cute with the matching beanie.
