The North Face A5 Cargo Pant - Men's - 2005

The Men's A5 Cargo Pant is tough enough for the trail and tame enough for town. Heavy Yak canvas savors the abuse of life on the rocks and is pre-washed to look better with age. Tailored with belt loops and a zippered fly, the A5 cargo is ready for class or climbing. There are a lot of pockets for hiding car keys and other stashables. Different lengths are available for those needing just the right size.

Bottom Line: Rugged construction keeps these cargos coming back for more.

Just as expected

Great pants. Very versatile with a loose but not baggy fit. I transition from office to playing soccer with my kids to working on my bike without missing a beat. Durable and comfortable. I normally wear 33/34 waist with 33 inseam and these fit well in 34 regular length.

Seven Countries - Three Weeks

By:
October 10, 2007

I took two pair of these North Face pants with me to Europe for three weeks while the wife and I backpacked. After a week, I shipped all of my other pants home. These are absolutely phenomenal with regard to comfort and durability. Fortunately for me, they also dried quickly when laundered in a sink. :) They provided excellent comfort in both warm and cool climes (Sevilla to Prague) and as with any cargo pants, held it all!

Love 'em

By:

I've got quite a few TNF pants because they make them in long- 36" inseam means they don't "flood" I love the cotton also because it makes them uber-comfy...

Nice but run large

By:
November 12, 2007

These are good an comfortable but they ran a little big for me. I typically take a 30 short version but these are at least an inch or two big around the waste for me so I really need to wear them with a belt. That aside they are really comfortable and have held up so far. Great for around the house, hiking, travelling...

Good pants

By:
January 2, 2008

I've only had them a few weeks, but these seem like good, durable pants. Nice big main pockets front and rear, and the cargo pockets are useful. They are, however, pants that I'd want to wear mainly in spring/summer. In my Wisconsin location, the canvas provides little protection against the cold wind--but that may be a generic issue with clothing made from fairly loosely-woven canvas. Overall, I very much like them.

Just a nice fitting casual slack, built like a truck for that unexpected job or scramble.
