A sleek water shoe sidled up next to a river sandal at the bar, and about a year later, the Teva Men’s Omnium Shoe was born. The Omnium uses quick-dry synthetic leather and soft mesh lining for comfort, open sides so water can pour out before you hop in the raft or kayak, and a Spider Rubber bottom for portages. A quick-lace system and instep strap enhance the fit while the covered-toe design helps when you shuffle across a high-current river and can’t see what rocks lie in front of your feet.
Been wearing these for most the summer since they showed up at my door and I have no regrets. Some budies kept urging my need for some hiking sandals/water shoes and I can't say enough about them. They are very comfortable in any type of activity, even running. Breathable, although wearing barefoot can produce an odor after a couple of weeks on the street. Can't go wrong!
Write your question here...I noticed that you don't have any Men's Size 9. Do you think bumping up to the 9.5 would be a huge difference? Also, I have very wide feet. Are these shoes adjustable or stretch out?
Great sandal/shoe. Great on long hikes, my legs were sore but my feet felt great. Sole is super grippy, even in the wet jungle and on rain soaked rocks. Straps make it easy to adjust - I bought mine a half size too big (the sandal really is true to size, I am usually a 10 and bought a 9.5, but a 9 would have been perfect) but the straps made it fit well.
I owned the Teva Dozer for 2 years prior to buying this shoe. The Dozer strap system rubbed the top of my foot raw until I duck taped the hot spots. The Omnium fixes this problem, much more comfortable. Strengths: Lighter in weight than the keens (easier to carry in my travel pack). Tough; good fit; top strap system has velcro and a buckle for easy off. Weakness: The heal section of the footbed has a wierd cushioning system with small ridges that are distinctly felt. They don't cause blisters, but it is a bit annoying. Overall, this is a great water shoe.

I have long, narrow flat feet... i tried many of these types of "water shoes" on at a local sporting store -- they were all very uncomfortable. Finally I tried these on and were PERFECT. They didn't have my exact size at the store which is why I came here to buy them (plus they were 10 dollars cheaper here.)
Great shoe, high quality - worth every cent! I have narrow feet so I have a hard time finding anything that fits. These shoes are adjustable in so many ways that it gives a custom fit. They are comfortable, practical and stylish - what more could you want!
These shoes cost quite a bit more than other, but trust me, it's well worth it. They are the best water shoe I've ever had. In fact, forget the fact that these are water shoes, but these are some of the best fitting and most comfortable shoes I've worn. They are extremely well built and very stylish. I wear them almost all the time - in fact, I'm wearing them right now! Spend the extra bucks and get these. You won't regret it!
