Before earth shoe made the wayside sandal, they had another model

Before earth shoe made the wayside sandal, they had another model which was much more comfortable for me. Does anyone know where I can get the previous model? Or an alternative slide - on sandal with no toe divider, no heel strap, and no high arch (birkenstock arch is much too high for me).
