The North Face On-Sight Insulated Jacket - Men's - 2008

When a chilly drizzle settles in and your old rain shell just won’t cut it, bust out The North Face Men’s On-Sight Insulated Jacket. This waterproof insulated shell’s HyVent DT fabric blocks everything from a drizzle to a downpour, and the PrimaLoft synthetic insulation keeps you toasty even if it gets wet (not likely). The fully adjustable hood works with a helmet for soggy belays, and the performance fit can be worn with a harness.

Bottom Line: A lightweight rain shell with a PrimaLoft bonus.

Write your question here...how heavy is the Primaloft? Is it at least 5 ounces or at least a 1 inch loft? Maybe I should aske what is the comfort rating for this jacket

It is fairly thin, so that you still have freedom of movement.

This piece is similar wamrth to the "redpoint" and is also waterproof. I love this jacket one of best puffies in the line.

TNF does not have "comfort ratings" for jackets like sleeping bags but I would be comfy in this to 0 degrees F if I had a layer or two underneath..
