The North Face Dominoe Checker Triclimate Jacket - Women's - 2008
Why would you even think of sacrificing fashion for waterproof fabric and versatility when The North Face Women's Dominoe Checker Triclimate Jacket exists? The North Face made this three-in-one jacket with an eye-catching checkered design and water-blocking features. Fully taped seams, HyVent fabric, and a snap-back pow skirt on the shell of the Dominoe Checker Jacket deny moisture and snow entry, while the snap-in liner boosts this jacket's warmth rating. Stash your goggles in the interior pocket on spring shell-only days, and sport the liner downtown for après-ski window shopping.
would you say this jacket fits true to size or runs a little small? I usually wear a small in jackets, but if wear sweaters underneath, should I got a size up?
I really appreciate the feminine cut/curved waist of this jacket. Another reviewer mentioned it's a little wide at the bottom, however that can be adjusted with the drawstring to your desired look so don't really see that as a problem. This jacket keeps me really warm and dry whilst skiing. It comes with a handy cloth in the left hand arm pocket to wipe your goggles/sunglasses! The other pockets offer sufficient storage space. The liner is great, as you can just remove it on a warmer day (true match for the navy I bought, but may not be in other colors). The liner is a nice design too so could be worn on its own without the shell. Great overall and well recommended!
I bought this jacket to wear snowboarding... and I am extremely pleased with it. I was looking for a jacket that wasn't boxy. I wanted it to have a more feminine fit. After trying on a few, this one looked the best. It kept me dry and warm. I even wore my Denali under it because it was extremely cold and it didn't feel restricting. I have the Nightsky Blue and my liner is blue not black like the picture depicts.
I love the color (I ordered Fresh Green) and fit of this jacket. However, I was surprised to find that the inner liner, which is shown as green is actually black. The picture is wrong. Don't be surprised.
I bought this jacket in Ray Yellow. It comes with a (dark) brown polyester lining.I matched it with the white TNF Freedom pants, looks great and fresh. :)
It is not fleece, the liner is a synthetic insulated nylon piece. Take a look at the North Face Redpoint jacket to give you a better idea what this liner is like. Very nice upgrade from a traditional fleece liner.
