It’s not that you care that people wear neon-colored ski jackets with fur lining out the wazoo and enough outside pockets to rival fishing vests. That just isn’t your style. You’ll be just fine with The North Face Women’s Boufet Jacket. Simple, sleek lines and a solid color match easily with your snow pants, while the waterproof breathable HyVent 2L fabric and fully taped seams block moisture during winter storms. Light insulation retains your heat, Underarm zips help cool you off on off-piste hikes, the powder skirt keeps the fluff out, and the adjustable hood protects your noggin as you blast down the slopes.
I get cold very easily.. im planning a skitrip out to vail this winter and i was wondering if you think this jacket will be warm enough? Does it keep you warm if the weather is below zero? Also, i weigh about 115lbs.. do you think an xs will be ok?
Hyvent 2L material keeps you dry, 100g of heatseeker polyfill in the body keep you warm. Like a giants fan in LA., SF gets laughed at and hated on, courtesy of The North Face Boufet. Batter up.
I was very happy to find this jacket at such a good price. I live here in New England, so I need something for a variety of different temps. I love this jacket for downhill skiing, xc skiing, hiking, snowball fights, and wearing to work. It is warm but light. The color is bright and beautiful. Many people have complimented me on the color and fit. I'm 5'8" and ordered the large. It is long enough to cover the top of my ski pants. The length of the sleeves is perfect.
Hi, I am searching for a jacket to hike in the glaciers and in the mountain to keep warm, and I was wondering if there is a big difference between this jacket and the foxy suede jacket or the varius guide jacket, could you recomend me one of these or other kind of jacket Thanks in advance
You really need to be more specific. How cold are "the coldest days"? What do you need it for? Will it be windy and/or wet? This jacket is reasonably warm for skiing, but if you're just around town and don't need the mobility, a down jacket might be a better fit. And warmer. Post another question and I'll see if I can help.
This coat is wonderful. It is very light yet it is still warm. You can keep it on inside and not get over heated too. It is a bit shorter than I would have liked but other than that it is a great coat.
