The North Face Mossbud 1/4 Zip Fleece - Girls' - 2008

It gets hot and stuffy in your girl’s classroom. The North Face Girls’ Mossbud ¼-Zip Fleece solves the overheating problem with a deep front zipper. A high collar and quick-drying, breathable fleece fabric make the Mossbud comfy for winter snowshoe adventures, while a front pocket and slim seams fit in on the playground in school.

Bottom Line: The Mossbud refuses to be pigeonholed.

So soft and nice,,,,BUT

I am 5ft tall and 90lbs. Ordered L and it was a little roomy and very comfy. Fuzzy fleece fabric, love the feel....BUT, it sheds. I wore a cotton shirt underneath, and this fleece was all over it, even got on my TNF nylon bag. Afraid to wash it with other clothes in the washer, so I plan on washing it alone in gentle cycle and see what's left.

Sounds like she'd be best in a large. You can always get a couple sizes and return the one that doesn't work. Backcountry.com's return policy completely rocks!Hope that helps.

It's a hit

My 12 year old daughter is a small 80 lbs but the Med seemed way too small. I opted for the XL which is a bit long on her but for the money I'd rather see her grow into it. It is VERY SOFT. She won't part with it either! A big hit!

My daughter loves it!

I bought this fleece for my daughter last month, and I can't get it off her to wash it. It is VERY soft. The sizes run a little small so if you are deciding between two sizes-go for the larger one.
