Yes, there is a stretch elastic waist. Non, adjustable. FYI, there are also no back pockets.

Good (very) basic pant

This is a good, simple pant at a decent price. You're paying for the Hyvent material. Pant has NO REAR pockets and the front pockets are too small to hold even a wallet, too shallow for change, too tiny for size 16 hands. Nice large belt tabs, good freedom of movement in the knees and thighs. What they don't have is "details" or "style"--no cargo pockets, no vents, no taping on bottom of legs, very basic gaiters, no side zips, etc. If you want more features, I'd say keep looking. There's lots of stuff out there at this price.

NO, the waist is not adjustable. It has an elastice gathered in back which give some adjustability, but the velcros tabs are closures, not for adjustment
