The North Face trimmed absolutely every non-essential feature from the Women's Hydrogen Jacket to shave its weight down to a staggeringly low 2.6oz. The Hydrogen Jacket has no Underarm zips, pockets, or even a hood. In Fact, the hood on your ski jacket weighs more than this whole windbreaker from The North Face. Slip this ultralight wind jacket into your pack so it's at the ready if the weather takes a turn for the worse.

Bottom Line: If The North Face Hydrogen Jacket weighed any less, it would float.

No Good

I ordered this because I loved the color, which was great in person too! But it was so thin that it would provide no protection from anything. I used to live in Hawaii so I'm always looking for a good rain jacket, but this jacket is so thin it would just cling to you if it got wet. I sent it back the next day and it costs like $6 to send it back so I just would not order it in the first place. I love North Face but not this item.

Paper thin

This jacket is paper thin. I would not recommend it to anyone. I really liked the color that is why I ordered it. The color was great but the overall jacket was not TNF quality. When I got it I was disappointed completely, and it was sent back right away!
