The North Face Circadian Paclite Jacket - Men's - 2008

If you've ever been soaked to the bone on a backpacking trip, then you understand the value of top-notch rainwear like The North Face Men's Circadian Paclite Jacket. Thanks to The North Face's use of waterproof breathable, fully seam-taped Gore-Tex Paclite fabric, this jacket takes on torrential downpours and even snowstorms without any problems. Although the Circadian Paclite Jacket adds only 20oz to your pack weight and takes up very little space, it provides total weather protection with a fully articulated hood and adjustable cuffs.

Bottom Line: Stop suffering through soaked base layers. Prepare for the big storms with The North Face Circadian Paclite Jacket.

Yes, sir. For your venting pleasure. But they seem to have gotten rid of the zips in this year's model. Maybe to save some weight.

Great Jacket

By:
October 10, 2008

I bought this for my husband. We both work in Chicago and have to walk and take the train to work. I have a North Face Gore Tex jacket and I love mine. So, I wanted to keep him dry when it rains so I bought him this jacket. He loves it! It's nice and lightweight and it keeps him dry when it rains.

I am having trouble deciding on a lightweight rain jacket for

I am having trouble deciding on a lightweight rain jacket for hiking/camping. I am down to three: GoLite Phantom; MontBell Torrent Flier; North Face Circadian PacLite. Which do you recommend? Are there others you recommend over those?

If you are looking for light and packable, the Golite and Montbell are the better choices. If you are looking for the lightest, check out the Outdoor Research Zealot. It is The lightest.

Great fit for tall guys

By:
June 5, 2008

I have bought this recently and the fit is perfect for me (I'm 6'8"!) with the jacket being great in heavy summer downpours. I really cannot understand the complaints on other sites about this jacket! :(

great!

Light, winterproof, waterproof, excellent! I bought it because my brother has had one for years and is very happy with it. The black colour looks so good that I even wear it to work (smart dress code required...) and except for the TNF logos, you would never tell this is a hiking jacket. Can only recommend!

I'm looking for a good Gore-Tex jacket to wear in warmer

I'm looking for a good Gore-Tex jacket to wear in warmer weather. Which is better, The North Face Circadian Paclite Jacket or the Outdoor Research Elixir Jacket? And do they both have detachable hoods and inside pockets? Thanks.

For the price, this jacket is probably going to be your best bet. They are virtually identical in design. But in price, this jacket is far cheaper.

The North Face Circadian jacket is one of the best jackets I own.,light weight blocks wind, and protects you from the rain. Works great as a top layer. Has a nice hood, and keeps you warm and breaths well. would buy again.
