Great concept, bad sizing

I had to return my jacket. Although the jacket was a great 2-in-1 peacoat style with warmth, the sizing was a bit off. I am busty and typically wear medium bottoms and medium-large tops. I could zip the medium jacket perfectly but the buttons buckled over the zipper so I went for the large. Unfortunately the larger size meant the hips ballooned out and made me look like I had an umbrella around my hips and the upper arms were way to large. I do though wish this jacket would have worked with my body because it is very cute and the color was as shown in the greystone.

I received my coat today and it is perfect - great length, very warm, excellent quality and lovely colour (I got the eggplant, but it's more maroon than purple)
I live in sunny Queensland, Australia and it is impossible to buy warm coats here. Shipping to Australia was very fast - less than 1 week.
I can't wait to wear it on my overseas trip!

Definitely! But make sure you get the right size, as I wish I had got one size smaller to stop the cold draft up my back. The fur collar is nice and snugg though, and means you don't need to wear a scarf!

I have had my beautiful new coat for a few weeks now and I am loving it. I bought it when I couldn't get an Arctic Parka in my size, and I was worried it wouldn't be warm enough. But I am happy to report I am warm as toast! I live in Canberra, Australia and we have fairly chilly winters (regularly below 0 degrees) and so far it is perfect. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. My only concern is the sizing. I am normally an xs but ordered a s after looking at the sizing quide, and I'm afraid it is rather big.

Great coat, unfortunately not as warm

I was so excited to receive my coat. I had been wanting this jacked ever since I saw it. This is the only feminin coat made by The North Face. Thats why I had extremely high expectations. It is very well made and fits perfectly. I have to admit that it is wind- and waterproof but it is not as warm as advertised. It is a good choice for fall but definetly not suitable for German winters with freezing temperatures.

Received Orange Sienna Coat for Chistmas...wasn't quite as orange shown..and fur came in a gray color not brown like shown...XL is really large...but still cute cute cute...love the draw string in waist and ipod holder inside...great features..
